The outcome of the referendum held in the United Kingdom on June 23, 2016 in which British citizens decided to leave the European Union (EU), commonly referred to as Brexit, has far reaching economic and political consequences. This course will offer students the opportunity to engage with the ongoing debate over the future of the European Union following this vote. The course will introduce students to current debates on institutions, public opinion, economy, security, and transatlantic relationship.
