CCUR 207 Tyree Entrepreneurship Academy Part 1
Dear Tyree Fellows,
Welcome back! As you embark on your second-year journey in the Tyree Innovation Fellowship, we’re thrilled to continue this experience with you. You’ve already built strong foundations in innovation and creative problem-solving, and this year is about putting those skills into action while exploring leadership and entrepreneurship more deeply.
We’re excited to share that this year’s fellowship experience will also count toward your co-curricular credit. To make this possible, you are all automatically enrolled in Tyree Entrepreneurship Academy Part 1 this fall.
- The course will appear on your semester schedule.
- Like any other course, should you wish to drop it, you need to drop the course by the add/drop deadline, which is Tuesday, Sept. 9. If you decide to drop it after this deadline, you would need to petition the Academic Affairs Council.
- The course will be led by Professor Richard Guha.
Entrepreneurship Academy Sessions (Thursdays, 7–9 PM):
Meet in Cornelia Seminar Room 117 (behind the stage)
Sept. 11, 18, 25
Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
Nov. 6, 13, 20
Dec. 4, 11
We will follow up with Calendar invites that will include location to provide reminders for the sessions.
Looking ahead, in the spring you’ll continue with Entrepreneurship Academy Part 2, with regular Thursday sessions, two more cohort meetings, and another field trip. You’ll also be paired with alumni mentors, giving you a chance to build lasting relationships and gain insights to strengthen both your ventures and your future professional path.
We’re so excited for the year ahead — and can’t wait to see your creativity and leadership shine!
